SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern the text-messaging (SMS) program of Atlantic Computer Systems ("ACS", "we", "us", or "our"). By opting in, you agree to these SMS Terms. They supplement our Terms & Conditions and SMS Privacy Policy.

Program description

When you opt in, ACS may send text messages such as consultation and appointment reminders, replies to your inquiries, service and account notifications, and, where you have agreed, occasional informational or promotional messages.

Consent and how to opt in

You opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts (for example, on a form or during onboarding) or by texting us first. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have authorization for the number provided, and that you are at least 18 years old. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. ACS does not charge for the messages, but your carrier may.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages; we will send one confirmation and then stop. Reply HELP for assistance, email hello [at] acs-tech [dot] com, or contact us through our contact page or at 1-650-300-7557.

Carriers and delivery

Supported carriers may change, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to notify us if you change or relinquish your mobile number, and not to use the program unlawfully. If you transfer or cancel your number, you agree to opt out first to prevent messages from reaching a later holder of that number.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The SMS program is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACS is not liable for any damages arising from your participation in or inability to use the program, including undelivered or delayed messages or charges from your carrier. Our Terms & Conditions, including their limitation of liability, apply to the SMS program.

Privacy

Information collected through the SMS program is handled under our SMS Privacy Policy and main Privacy Policy. We do not sell mobile information or share SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing.

Changes

We may update these SMS Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.
