SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Atlantic Computer Systems ("ACS", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with our text-messaging (SMS) program. It supplements our main Privacy Policy, which also applies.

Consent to receive messages

We send text messages only to individuals who have opted in, for example by providing a mobile number and agreeing to receive texts on a form, during onboarding, or by texting us first. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Types of messages

Messages may include appointment and consultation reminders, responses to your inquiries, account and service notifications, and, where you have agreed, occasional informational or promotional messages.

Message frequency, rates, and carriers

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to opt out or get help

Information we collect for SMS

For the SMS program we collect your mobile phone number, your opt-in and opt-out status and timestamps, and message-related metadata such as delivery status. We use this information to operate the program, send the messages you requested, maintain records of consent, and comply with applicable law.

How we share SMS information

We share your mobile information only with vendors that help us operate the messaging program (such as our messaging platform and telecommunications providers), strictly to deliver the service. We do not sell your mobile information, and we do not share mobile opt-in information or phone numbers collected for SMS with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention and security

We retain SMS-related information for as long as needed to operate the program, evidence consent, and meet legal obligations, and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
